Lahaina History, Art and Photography

LAHAINAHISTORY.COM, is a small website with a mission to honor, commemorate, preserve, and share the history and living history of Lahainatown.     I hope for the healing of the Aina (land) and the rebirth of our community. Keep Lahaina Land in Lahaina hands! LAHAINA STRONG!

None, lol. I have just enjoyed  learning much of Lahaina's history . I want to learn more and watch the rebuilding and renewal over the coming years.  

It's just a hobby of love that I know will deepen my appreciation of the land and  it's people and heritage and give back to the people of Lahaina , past, present and future.

At LAHAINAHISTORY.COM, the website will grow by trial and error.  and it will take months before its anything but a basic starter website. 

I plan on  adding links and photos and will just see how the learning curve goes. I will keep publishing it, warts and all. Give it time 

Eventually, I will integrate submissions of photos, history and stories from Lahaina residents and  and former residents, Maui history buffs, r just looking for a way to give and anyone looking  to give back to the Maui  community.  Soon,  I welcome your support and participation to grow this website as a wonderful resource of preservation and living history.
